Our studio is located on the first floor of the historic Sunny Arms Artists Cooperative, www.sunnyarms.com, in South Seattle, off Airport Way South, just north of Georgetown.
The building is located at the corner of South Snoqualmie Street and Seventh Avenue South. It’s the only five-story building in an area of one- and two-story buildings. It's certainly one of the most colorful in the neighborhood: green on the east side, salmon on the north, yellow on the west, and blue on the south, with door and window trim in various more intense hues of the same four colors. As they say, you can’t miss it.
Our studio is on the first floor; it’s the one with the loading dock. If we’re there, the loading dock door will be open at least part way. Come on up the grey steps and into the studio. Hint: When we’re working in the hot shop, we can’t hear the phone or the doorbell, so we really do encourage you to use the loading dock entrance.
If you are coming from the north, go south on Airport Way South to about ½ mile south of Spokane Street and the old Rainier Brewery (now the headquarters for Tully’s coffee). Turn right onto South Snoqualmie, then take the next left, onto Seventh Avenue South. Please park on the street if possible; parking lot is reserved for building tenants.
If you are coming up Airport Way south from the south, cross the railway yard just north of Georgetown, take the third left, onto South Snoqualmie, and then turn left again onto Seventh.
